Padres. They lost both games, bringing a disappointing end to this year’s stint

Denver- Metro State College of Denver’s softball team secured their place in the regular season Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship after shutting out the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers 7-0 at Auraria Field on Saturday. Metro Softball Shuts out Mines 10-1

GOLDEN, Colo.- The Metropolitan State College of Denver’s woman’s softball team met the Colorado School of Mines on April 2. As a 30 mile per hour wind swept across the CSM softball field Friday, April 2, it did not blow out Metro States 5-game winning streak. Instead, it added wind to their sails.

Roadrunners route Neb-Omaha in extra innings

DENVER- The Metro State Roadrunners are up and running on the Auraria Campus’ diamond as softball gets an early jump on the season. The team played two games on Friday and two games on Saturday. Even with the windy Rocky Mountain chill, the athletes fought hard playing in temperatures as low as 34-degrees.
